What is HelloMaaS?
HelloMaaS is your all-in-one marketing platform. On the platform you can create your marketing plan, find the best marketing freelancers for your flex team, post a project for our community or get started right away with our handy fixed price marketing packages.
How do I join HelloMaaS?
You can join HelloMaaS for free. To create your account, go to the top right and click on Join. Follow the steps and fill in the required information.
How HelloMaaS is different from having a marketing team or agency?
HelloMaaS is Marketing as a Service. A platform that enables a flexible team with specialist knowledge. We have fixed price packages, team management tool and reliable freelancers with relevant experience in your market.
No long search or high commissions, with HelloMaaS you have the tools and talent to flexibly put together your marketing team when you need it. Our platform controls the entire process to manage a flexible team. From searching, onboarding, reviews and even co-creation of new campaign ideas.
You can quickly deploy new marketing channels, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel, just hire flexible (example, for a few half days per month) marketers with specific knowledge for efficient execution.
Why should I work with HelloMaaS?
Our mission is to make marketing easier and smarter for all companies. Many good marketers like to work as freelancers, so they can decide for whom, when and what they work for. With a better match, the best work also emerges.
Many companies struggle in the fast-changing marketing landscape with so many channels that are constantly changing. How much does it cost?
HelloMaaS offers 3 types of subscriptions:
- Economy Class, budget friendly for startups and small businesses: €500,-/pm
- Business Class, ideal for SMBs: €750,-/pm
- Private Jet, suitable for medium and large companies (corporates): €1.500,-/pm
Subscription Terms:
- 20% discount on HelloMaaS subscription when paid annually upfront
- Minimum commitment of 3 months
- After the first three months, you can downgrade or cancel at the start of each month.

How does the review process guarantee the best marketing freelancers?
HelloMaaS has built an active community of 500+ marketing specialists. Each profile is manually reviewed and checked for reliability and completeness. HelloMaaS assesses freelancers on work experience, size of former assignments, type of clients, skills, brand affinity, references, language skills and personality. This is followed by a manual search check. Finally, our experienced Support Team will contact you for the onboarding of the freelancer for verification. If everything is in order, the freelancer will be given access to the platform.
Why are freelancer marketers useful to my company?
Marketing is changing rapidly. There are many marketing channels and tools. Building your own team takes time and involves fixed costs and contracts. This is often expensive and inflexible. Besides, the best marketers often work as freelancers.
With HelloMaaS you can make your marketing team flexible, operate faster and manage costs better. You can experiment with new channels and tools by bringing in reliable knowledge and skills from outside. In a way that suits you. You can do this by posting a project, purchasing parcels or building a flex team. We provide the tools for the modern marketing team.
Does the Freelance Marketing Specialist work remotely or in the office?
Our services are ideally suited to be delivered remotely. This allows customers to collaborate with marketing specialists outside their local circle. Because the process, price and deliveries are preset, there is less need for process and project management, making working remotely a good option. If you prefer to work in person, many freelancers are open to come to your office. We recommend meeting each other the first time for a (digital) cup of coffee to build a personal relationship.
Can I directly select a freelancer?
Our Customer Success Team always helps to select the right freelancer. Based on the briefing and the right marketing approach, we look for the specialist that best meets the customer demand. In this way we speed up the process for both the customer and the freelancer. We call this no nonsense marketing!

It is also possible to plan a free consultation with HelloMaaS. We will help you with the right approach based on your objectives. Sometimes an audit works best, sometimes a combination of packages. Each package can also be personalized.
How do I buy a package?
Directly via the platform. Login to HelloMaaS and go to “packages”. Then choose the package you want and click on the “get started” button. We will then contact you within 2 working days and start the search to find the best freelancer.
You can pay quickly, easily and securely with:

How much does a package cost?
The average rate of a package is around 2500 euros, divided into a number of steps. Here you can view all packages and prices.
How do packages work?
There are different types of packages: Set Up, Audit and Always On.
Many companies start with a Set Up package. The packages are divided into a number of steps. In the first steps a plan is made based on the objectives and business
In the next step this is then converted into an operational process. The Set Up Packages often have the possibility to switch to continuous marketing in later steps.
Example: You start with setting up your content marketing with the content marketing strategy package. When you have your strategy and you have divided the roles, you choose the “Facebook well organized” and “Two blog posts p/m” packages. This way you convert your strategy into continuous content creation, engagement and growth.
The Audit Packages are a one-off. They are often chosen by companies that are already involved in marketing and would like to have an expert look at them.
Are packages included in a subscription?
No, packages are fixed price products purchased within the platform.
With one of three subscriptions you will have access to our platform and HelloMaaS will make sure that you can set your marketing machine into motion faster by: finding the right freelancers, reviewing deliverables, marketing tools and the Team Happiness Tracker.
HelloMaaS makes the process for both the client and freelancer faster and is both agency and recruiter in one. This makes us up to 7 weeks faster and 50% cheaper.

Can I buy more packages at the same time?
Certainly! If you are already active with marketing, it is best to start with Audit packages. Or look under social media, content marketing and performance marketing to have channels managed externally part-time.
Have you not yet started strategic marketing? Then start with some packages in the strategy column.
At the bottom of each package page you will find tips which packages are ideally already done, and recommendations what you can pick up after completion. This way you can flexibly build your marketing team without fixed contracts or costs!
Can I change a marketing package?
Of course! Do you want more review rounds or have you already performed step 1 with another freelancer or agency? Send us a message via chat or email to match your marketing goals with the right package.
I do not have a Marketing team, can I still buy a package?
Absolutely. Packages could be a great fit. The step-by-step plan and outcome have already been thought out, so it is ideal for customers with little marketing knowledge what you will get with budget control.
Playbook
How does the Playbook work?
You answer a few questions via our wizard. Sign up for a free HelloMaaS client account and you can directly access your custom playbook. Learn more about all options, from value proposition, customer journey, social media strategy, landing page to A/B testing. Select what you need and add to your planner. If you want to get the work done, simply buy packages and we get in touch to propose the right marketers from your top 10% community.

Why do you offer a playbook?
Most companies need marketing, but struggle to get it done right. It’s our mission to make marketing easier for small businesses with a small budget. We believe that it shouldn’t take weeks to get a proposal from an agency. We believe that technology and A.I. can help you understand and select the right marketing options.
Flex Team
How much does it cost?
You pay a monthly membership to use the HelloMaaS platform, get a dedicated HelloMaaS success manager and always the best people in your flex team.
- 500 euro for 3 people
- 750 euro for 6 people
- 1000 euro for 10 people
This fee is about 80% cheaper than working with recruiters. You can cancel each month.
Once you hire Flex Team members for a project or part-time work you pay per hour. Depending on the duration and seniority, you pay either €60 – €80 – €100 per hour. Hours are logged via our platform. You receive one invoice per month for all hours worked.
Flex Team is up to 40% cheaper than agencies and recruiters. Plus get a platform with handy tools to directly work with your Flex Team.
Why do I need a flex team?
Marketing is changing fast. There are more than 50+ channels and 8000+ tools. To stay relevant you need to experiment but also keep your operations afloat. High performing marketing teams need to be agile and do more with their budget.
You need a Flex Team so you have direct access to top marketing specialists when you need it. No more complicated agencies. Work directly with professionals you can trust. Contact and get to work in a few clicks. Manage and grow your marketing smartly.
Can I work at a fixed price with my Flex Team?
Yes you can. Select a fixed price package and invite a member from your Flex Team. Our platform will set up the contact and you can pay directly via iDeal or credit card.
How does the Flex Team work?
You answer a few questions via our wizard. Sign up for a free HelloMaaS client account.
Our smart matching creates a list of top 10% marketing freelancers from our community. Our team will call you to ask about culture and other team dynamics. We will set up a video call to introduce 2 people for each skill you need. You tell us which ones you fit the best fit.
We organize a kick-off with you and your Flex Team. We give an onboarding demo of our platform so you can get to work easily and fast with your Flex Team.
Pricing/Costs
What do you charge?
You can create a customer account for free. In fact, on our websites you can view all packages and team tooling without an account and request a demo.
You only pay when you use our team tool, buy a package or hire freelancer(s). Our margins are significantly lower than working with a recruiter or an agency. Make an appointment or send an email for more details.
For our fixed price packages we charge an onboarding fee followed by a monthly subscription. For a flexible marketing team low we charge a monthly fee of €1500 including two freelancers.
How do package payments work?
Each package is divided into steps. On average between 750-2000 euros per step. After each step you can stop, so you are not stuck and will get results with every step.
You pay 50% of the fee in advance and 50% after completing the step. You can pay via iDeal, credit card or invoice.
If you think that the package does not meet the description, you can file a complaint via the Project Happiness Index. We then personally examine the situation. If the quality is low, we will refund the 50% amount you paid in advance.

What payment methods do you offer?
- iDeal (our preference for Dutch customers)
- Credit card (our preference for U.S. companies)
In the case of packages, invoicing is 50% at start and 50% after completion
For subscriptions is a monthly fee we work with a direct debit.
For freelance deployments on a project basis, a monthly bill based on days worked is invoiced on post-calculation.
What role does HelloMaaS play if I am not satisfied with the progress or result?
Whether you buy a package, use the flexible team tool or hire a freelancer, for all options we recommend using the Happiness Tracker every two weeks.
This gives the freelancer, client and other project team members insight into performance and collaboration. Our trackers automatically detect the differences.
Our account team immediately contacts in case of major differences in order to determine together what causes a low score.
If a freelancer doesn’t fit well, we search for a better match free of charge.
Can I terminate a contract with a freelancer?
With packages you can stop after every step. On a project basis it is possible to stop every 30 days. When using the team tool it is also possible to cancel the subscription every 30 days.
Account/Settings
How can I create a profile?
At the top right of every web page is the button “Join”. Click on this and follow the step-by-step instructions to create your account. Once the profile is created (this can be done in 1 minute) our account team will verify the profile for completeness and provide access to the HelloMaaS platform.
My profile has been accepted, what’s next?
If the customer profile is accepted you will receive a personal email. We also have onboarding tips ready on the platform. As a customer you can post a “project” yourself or select freelancers directly. You can also view all packages and buy them directly. In all cases, we are happy to help via our chat, telephone or email.
How do I update my profile?
Updating your profile is easy. Log in to the HelloMaaS platform. In the left navigation bar click on “Profile.” Once this page is opened you can make the necessary changes to your profile.
How do I change my password?
| Log in to your account, go to “Account settings” and add a new password. You will receive a confirmation by email. |
How do I delete my profile?
It is not possible to delete your profile by yourself. Drop us a message and our team will remove your profile from the platform and delete your contact details from our CRM system.
Project Happiness Index
What is The Happiness Tracker?
The Happiness Tracker is an effective way to measure the “temperature” of your project based on three characteristics:
- Collaboration
- Quality
- Speed
Every two weeks all project members receive the same email to give a score of 1-10 on these three characteristics. This is anonymous.
All team members receive the “team score” and immediately see the difference compared to the previous measurement. With this “temperature” score you can see how your grade matches the rest.
This allows you to have a constructive conversation with your team about expectations. If the scope varies widely or suddenly changes, that is often a good reason for a substantive conversation.
Terms & Conditions
How is HelloMaaS using my data?
HelloMaaS does not share your data publicly. We only share your information if a connection is made between customer and freelancer, for example when a package is purchased or a specific project starts.

Is HelloMaaS responsible for the information I share with a freelancer?
Freelancers or clients often share company confidential information during projects. If the customer works with our team tool and / or with a package, things like NDA and IP are arranged directly via the tool. If the freelancer is hired on a project basis, the NDA can be added to the freelancer from the customer for signature. The initiative for this lies with the customer.
Who is responsible for the project management process?
HelloMaaS leads the project scoping, matching, onboarding and team tool implementation process. During the kick-off, as part of the onboarding, a checklist is shared so that the client and freelancer (s) can jointly determine where responsibilities lie.
For a larger project it is advisable to appoint a project manager. HelloMaaS has a lot of experience and some very experienced marketing and digital transformation project managers in her community.
