HelloMaaS is a one-stop-shop for freelance marketers. With our platform you can upgrade and diversify your freelance career.

What is a marketing package?
HelloMaaS offers 35+ marketing packages in 6 categories connecting clients and freelancers with turn-key solutions. Weeks get lost to define approach, scope and budget which is not necessary for common marketing activities.
We have done the heavy lifting to define these things for both client and freelancer.
We offer three type of packages:
1. Audits (mostly strategic). For example: brand audit, conversion optimization and SEO
2. Set up new strategies, channels and tools (strategic and tactic). For example: landing pages, customer journey and brand personality.
3. Ongoing (tactic, operational). For instance: blogging, social media and facebook ads.
Are you a freelancer with specific and proven marketing skills? Consider working with a package. We promote you and your packages. Consider us your agent, lead generator and sparring partner.
Can I create a Marketing Package?
We no longer offer an opportunity to create your own packages as a freelancer. Clients gave us feedback that it’s hard to navigate 50 packages without a structured description, process and pricing consistency. That’s why we made a change in our product strategy and moved to structured packages.
There is for sure room for new packages, so if you have an idea don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can work together.
Can I charge my hourly rate with packages?
No, all HelloMaaS packages have a fixed price. The price is calculated based on skill set and seniority level required and then benchmarked to market rates. Since you can focus on doing the work rather than endless hours on customer acquisition and planning, you will have a higher earning potential, particularly overtime when you have delivered a certain package a few times and get more skilled and effective in your work.
Do you prefer to work on an hourly or day rate? We offer projects on our platform. In the project description you will find a budget indication for the freelance rate and it is possible to fill in your hourly rate.

What type of clients work with HelloMaaS?
Our current clients range from small businesses to high growth startups and global corporates. Our focus is on the Dutch market but we have recently started to work remotely with clients in the USA and Germany.
Our clients are looking for experienced and reliable marketing freelancers, particularly those with specific know-how and recent experience with channels, strategies and marketing tools.
Can I refer other marketing freelancers?
Please do! All Dutch freelancers with a solid track record are welcome! Send them this link to join. If a freelancer from your network starts a project or a package you will both receive a bottle of bubbly to celebrate a successful introduction.
What can I expect from the screening process?
The quality of our freelance community is one of our USP’s. We do this by a thorough profile review for accuracy and completeness using online checks. After this process you will be onboarded and you will get direct access to the platform. In order to match you as best as possible, it is important to create a profile that is recent, complete and looks attractive so we can do the best matching for you!
Why can I only select up to 9 skills on my personal profile?
To limit the skill choice to a maximum of 9 for our freelancers, we know more about what our community is really good at. This way their expertise comes out best, so we can match them better to clients and they can do the work they love doing most.
Account / Profile
How do I update my profile?
Updating your profile is easy. Log into the HelloMaaS platform. Click on “Profile” in the right corner of the navigation bar and you can update your profile directly.
If you need any help with updating or upgrading your profile, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Who can view my profile?
As a default setting, customers with an account can view your profile after login to the HelloMaaS platform. There is also the option to make your profile “public”. This way we can also share your profile with customers directly via email or LinkedIn. Due to GDPR this is not a default setting. However, in order to be matched faster and easier by our team, it is advisable to set this up.
How do I delete my account?
Send us a message to remove your profile from the platform, and, if desired, from our CRM.
How is my personal information being used?
Your profile is visible to approved customers after logging into the HelloMaaS platform. If you have opt-ed in for your profile to be “public”, we can use your profile for promotion or matching outside the HelloMaaS platform.
Projects
How do I respond to a project?
When you have found an interesting project, click on the ‘I am interested’ button and fill in the information. The customer and HelloMaaS team will review all interested freelancers and will give feedback within a few working days.
Can I quit a project that I have started working on?
That is possible, but preferably only in exceptional circumstances. Please contact us directly if you are considering this. We will discuss the reason and solutions together, and possibly with the client. We would like to assist in troubleshooting and look for a suitable replacement and transition.
What should I do at the start of a project or package?
Get ready and excited to start! Our account team will organize customer introductions or for larger projects a kick-off meeting. You will also receive an explanation of the way of working of the platform, project or package.
Will HelloMaaS help me to get an assignment?
You bet. Our sales and account team has recently been expanded with the aim of having at least one new assignment on the platform every week. For the sale of packages, we will start with paid media campaigns, freelancer promotion and cold calling.
Payment
How does your payment / invoice process work?
For packages, 50% is paid in advance of each phase and 50% afterwards. Projects per hourly or day rate are billed monthly to the client by HelloMaaS. As soon as the client has paid, the freelancer will be paid immediately.
Is there a commission fee?
Yes, HelloMaaS charges a service fee of 10% on fixed price packages and a flat fee of 10 euro p/h on projects with hourly billings.
